@catileptic is an open-source developer working on investigative tooling, including #OpenAleph. She is the #CTO of the digital rights advocacy non-profit ApTI - Asociatia pentru Tehnologie si Internet, Romania and has served as the CTO of the civic rights non-profit Code for Romania in the past.

You may have read that we're starting OpenAleph, but what is it? It's an open source document search engine used for journalistic investigations, forked from the Aleph tool originally developed by @OCCRP "OCCRP has agreed to this [development] with the goal of continuing to provide an open source version of Aleph. We appreciate the work Simon and his team at DARC have done to support organizations using the Aleph base", says Drew Sullivan, co-founder of OCCRP.
