In aviation operations we make bets on forecasts with ..a lot... of real money. I want to know we are not relying on automated JMSU....

Yes current models are also imperfect. Their quirks are learnable and one can generally rely on how / why.

Doing generative weather breaks that. Please, for the love of all that is holy, don't.
