This manga is so lovely. I picked it up because I saw a page excerpt with foreign food, and I like foodie manga/anime. But it’s also such a lovingly realistic world tour that they go on, carefully addresses the struggles of queer people and generally is just heartwarming.
I was particularly impressed at the depiction of Germany in this volume, they visited Hamburg and I easily recognized all the places. Really shows that the author did a lot of research. It made me want to actually go to the places in France and Italy that appeared here (although I’m European I’ve hardly visited France and Italy not at all).
