I finally cut the cord.
Now it's just internet and me and my bill went from $220 down to $95.
I rather use my money for donations to #PBS
well hamburgers.. AETN (arkansas #pbs) is leaving PBS in July and rebranding to ArkansasTV. I think I'll have to move my passport membership to OETA in Oklahoma since I'm so close to the border.
I'll probably do that and keep my contributions to Arkansas public television going but knowing who runs our state government, I fear it won't be a good change.

A conservative group yesterday urged the Federal Communications Commission to take licenses away from NPR and PBS stations and let other entities use the #spectrum. The request came from the #CenterforAmericanRights (CAR), a nonprofit law firm that has played a prominent role in the news-distortion investigations spearheaded by FCC Chairman #BrendanCarr.
#PSA: Season 12 of the #PBS series "Art in the Twenty-First Century" is underway and I could not recommend Ep 1, "Between Worlds," more highly.

Probably the best bet for a nationwide news source that can be trusted is PBS and NPR. Probably its everyone's duty to strongly support them and ProPublica.

Currently watching an excellent bootleg #DVD copy of #Hamilton that I bought off of #eBay.☺️
The film is edited from 3 performances on Broadway in June 2016. The film was released theatrically by #Disney in July 2020 &, since then, has only been available for streaming on the Disney channel. ☹️
Disney has the right to release the film on DVD but has never done so, preferring instead to attempt to maintain a monopoly on access to this media. 🤬
Have seen it before when it was temporarily released for free on #PrimeVideo to non-Disney subscribers & it's more interesting to watch it now after recently seen #KenBurns' #documentary #AmericanRevolution on #PBS. I bought a 6 DVD set of this documentary that I nay re-watch again soon.

While I'm nattering on about TV ... watch Ken Burns' "The American Revolution." If you're a USian, just watch it. Well worth your time. The series pulls no punches, you'll likely come away with a deeper understanding of unresolved issues, and the last few minutes: that Hamilton quote, and the final words of the series.
I saw this PBS show and found it very moving. It’s about stories of how neighbors feed one another across the country. I hope you find it interesting.
