People tend to look at peer-reviewed journals as a sign of credibility. I've not written about the nonsense of peer review, but these are unadulterated gatekeeping mechanisms antithetical to knowledge dissemination.

Can someone recommend some philosophical papers about present times problems (alienation, influence of SM, productivity, work, entertainment etc.)? I'm looking for some comprehensive political/social theory like "Society of the Spectacle", "The Burnout Society" but more about life of gen z, who has been raised in the world full of technology and web, not only observed changes like Byung-Chul Han, McKenzie Wark, Žižek etc.

Revised preprint: Examining Phronesis Models with Evidence from the Neuroscience of Morality Focusing on Brain Networks.

In this paper, I examined the multifaceted/network nature of phronesis, practical wisdom, with evidence from neuroscience and psychology. I discussed various philosophical (and psychological) points related to its nature and functioning. During the revision, I reviewed additional previous studies.

New preprint #PhilPapers https://bit.ly/3RqzIbs: I discussed phronesis (practical wisdom) models based on neuro + psych research, esp. the network-natured brain functionality. Also referred to recent works in consciousness, e.g., the Integrated Information Theory (#IIT).

Proposed points: 1. the multifaceted nature of phronesis (consisting of multiple functionalities); and, 2. the interconnectivity, interaction, and coordination among the functionalities for sophisticated phronesis.

Interdisciplinary collaboration with a moral philosopher, Nafsika Athanassoulis, accepted for publication in Philosophical Inquiry in Education.

In this work, we supported the benefits of role modeling with moral exemplars in moral/character education while depending their necessity based on recent empirical findings (e.g., the network of moral functioning components).
