Rapidly rolling up on the 2nd anniversary of my prior bullie-girl, Lady's, death. For the past week or so, Google Photos has been "helpfully" surfacing "memories" of her. Dammit.

My #staffy is getting a lot more comfortable with laying with my wife's #pibble. After him living here for nearly 20 months, it's nice to see him finally understanding that she's ok sharing physical space (I mean, she and my prior dog laid up on each other all the time).

A few months back, my best friend adopted a (grey) #staffy puppy after its mom and litter mates had been confiscated from a fighting breeder.

Today, he brought his boy over to introduce to my (tan) staffy and my wife's #pibble. They seemed to like each other well enough.

This punk showed up at our doorstep like he owns the place. Fairly happy adolescent mutt who just loves being involved with the humans(especially if human food is present). If we can't find his owner(s) and can keep him around, what should we name him?

My wife's #pibble has very thin fur. So, when the temperature drops into the 30s (or lower), wife puts her in clothing to keep her warm. This was what she was wearing until bedtime, last night.

Kaiya sleeps inside a cozy cave. Unfortunately, with as this as this particular Spark Paws hoodie is, she was finding it impossible to squeeze into her bed. Had to take it off her so she could finally slide inside.

With the arrival of snow (fairly cursory) and associated cold, my #staffy is a lot more willing to lay with my #pibble on the dog bed to the right of my work chair (he's got his own bed to the left of my chair but generally only uses it when he's got no access to the living room and doesn't want to get overheated laying with the other dog).

One of the things I miss about my #pibble, Lady, is that she preferred to sleep right next to my side of the bed.

There's still a pile of pillows and blankets, there, but my #staffy, Gryff, prefers to sleep in his cage (even though I leave its door open for him). I guess he feels more secure there. Maybe Lady felt more secure being within head-scratching distance of me?
