9: The ending of chapter 9 implies that the young Musica is the “real” Musica but he’s like a son/grandson of the older drunk one if I recall… he also does join Haru on his journeys too
4: You know funnily enough I actually think that Gale’s proper appearance is actually about where I stopped reading initially and I have vague recollections of it being important going through my memory there’s a Hoenheim/Father thing going on with Gale right? I think the “Father” is called King… IDK…

also I think I recall Shuda looking more like Cobra from Fairy Tail later… like he definitely doesn’t in these early chapters but I’m pretty sure I recall my reaction to a later appearance of his being like “oh this is where Cobra’s design came from…”

2: What do you mean you don’t know how to use a sword you just swing it!!! I know it’s probably more complicated but like this is life or death use the basic slash function!!! I know it’s also got 10 forms at a minimum but the he didn’t say this sword” he said “a sword” also isn’t Haru’s sword 10 commandments not 10 powers I know the name is reused for Edo Erza’s weapon in Fairy Tail… but it could just be the 10 form aspect…
Rave Master 1-12 reaction
1: I read/watched Fairy Tail first and I know a lot of stuff from Rave got reused there so I knew the “Plue is a dog” thing from there started here… but granted Plue definitely looks more like a dog then… A FREAKING FISH!!! I mean come on no gills should give it away BUT IT DOESN’T EVEN HAVE FINS!!! I don’t care if Haru fished Plue up if it doesn’t even look like a Dolphin or a whale you can’t call it a fish…
Well nobody here voted on the Rave Master poll but fortunately the poll I posted on Tumblr did get some votes resulting in the decision being yes I will only be reading the manga… hopefully to completion this time…

Another question is should I watch the Rave Master anime after reading the manga? I know it’s incomplete which is why I hesitate to do so but figured I’d ask for a second opinion (I don’t like not “completing” something which is why I’m NOT exclusively watching the anime.)
BTW both yes options will be counted together when deciding whether to read the manga or not

I tried reading it once a while ago but stopped at some point… kind of want to check out a new series that I’m not aware of it’s spoilers for and feel kind of bad stopping my initial reading of it (I genuinely don’t think I had a “reason” cause like I definitely did the same thing with FE Echoes Shadows of Valentia and Pokemon Moon and Pokemon Y which were around that time)
