This Russian heirloom dryland rice is well adapted to a short season, cool climate and would probably die if grown in a paddy. Its happy to be grown in the garden and kept moist. Short grained it will make a good sticky rice, that's if I can harvest it all before the mice do. They've already taken a huge swack.
