My 250th #parkrun at the quite gorgeous Llanishen Park parkrun where I got to meet the rather fabulous @RHD run with my youngest son AND get my age related rating to 71.98%

The ludicrous nature of a #parkrun addict, part 1...
Get up before 7am to drive 90 minutes to parkrun unaffected by floods. Except the river next to that parkrun burst banks at 8ish. Mad phone search for nearest hill based parkrun. Drive 25 minutes, ignoring official "Road Closed Due To Flooding" signs (it's a parkrun emergency so 🤷). Park car 1mile away. Run to start (past the run that had started). Jog through world war one trench mud. Personal worst time.
