A fun and quirky sculpture at Sculpture by the Sea Bondi — looks like dolphins leaping from a retro toaster! 🐬🔥🌊 Such a cool find along the coastal walk! 😍

What do you think this artwork represents? 🧐💬

Scenes from Sculpture by the Sea 🌊 — Bondi’s coastal walk turned into a stunning outdoor gallery of creativity, colour, and ocean views. Always something new along the cliffs each year 🎨 — @austechandnature

Two Sculpture by the Sea pieces caught my eye — fish 🐠 diving from a pedestal and a rock 🪨 wrapped in netting. Playful motion meets a quiet message about how we connect with the sea 🌊. Which artwork spoke to you most? — @austechandnature #SculptureByTheSea #Bondi

A striking figure stands against the backdrop of Bondi’s coastline — a man immortalized in stillness, gazing out to the endless sea. 🌊✨ This sculpture captures both strength and solitude, blending seamlessly with the beauty of nature’s canvas.

Showcasing 100 works by global artists in Australia's largest free outdoor sculpture exhibition

Sydney's Bondi to Tamarama coastal walk

A ficus tree, also known as the Moreton Bay fig tree, seen here as a sculpture with backlighting to highlight its extensive system of roots. Photographed in muted twilight at Tamarama Beach just after sunset on the Pacific Ocean shoreline of Sydney’s eastern beaches.

The largest Moreton Bay fig tree in Australia is likely a tree located west of Bellingen, NSW, standing at around 50 meters tall with a 48-meter crown and an 18-meter circumference. While other large specimens exist, such as those in Centennial Parklands, Sydney, and the tree in Beatson Park, Wollongong, the Bellingen tree is often cited as the largest.

At this year’s #SculptureByTheSea, I expect the blue chimp with the golden jewels will be a crowd favourite. (We’re all five year-old boys at heart.)
