[2/2] Selena & the Barrio Boyzz performed this song at the 1994 Tejano Music Awards. Selena wore these tight pants, with a leather jacket and hair swooped mostly to one side. The look was perfect and is one of my favorite looks of hers.

[2/2] When Selena recorded this song, she was sick, so her voice had a bit more raspy tone to it. She hesitated in recording because she didnโ€™t want it to sound bad, but after her dad pushed her to give it a try, it turned out to be perfect and the hoarse voice blended well with the ranchera / mariachi style of the song.

This ranchera style song was so fun to watch Selena perform live. She would bring up an audience member to the stage who was her โ€œboyfriendโ€ and demonstrate how to break up with them. At the end, she would always ask the audience to give a round of applause to her โ€œex-boyfriendโ€.
