One of the composers for the song, offered it to Selena for her all English album. There have been several covers of this song, but the most memorable, in my opinion, was Selena’s version from the 𝘿𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙛 𝙔𝙤𝙪 album. It originally was made for the movie 𝘿𝙤𝙣 𝙅𝙪𝙖𝙣 𝘿𝙚𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙤 released in 1995 with Marlon Brando, Johnny Depp, & Faye Dunaway.

She would bring up an audience member to the stage who was her “boyfriend” and demonstrate how to break up with them.
