This morning I have been looking into divesting ourselves of Sky TV and Broadband.
After 20+ years. But enough is enough.

It is soooo expensive. We’re currently locked in until October, which is a pain, but I think I’ve worked out what to do.

A couple of AppleTV boxes (one with Ethernet and one just WiFi).

We already have subscriptions to the streaming services we want.

The only thing extra is for F1 and football - so a NowTV subscription for sports is on the cards. But, since it’s monthly and can be cancelled at any time then all good there.

Then broadband to change too.
Looking at PlusNet or EE. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
We already have full fibre, so should be a simple switch.

If this goes according to plan, we could save over £900 per year (based on the full cost of services).

Over 30,000 reports flooded platforms like X and Reddit, with peak disruptions between 1:15 a.m. and 4:15 a.m. While some users found temporary relief by rebooting their Sky boxes, others reported repeated failures.

I got an email from #Sky TV today, informing me how fabulous they were, and that they are increasing my subscription by £2.60 per month from April. They already forced an increase on us all in September of £2.

I've been on the phone for almost 30 minutes speaking to a variety of people who try to stop me cancelling. Sorry, after 18 years as a customer I am done. I can get almost anything we watch on #Freeview or catch-up apps on my smart TV.
