Definitely getting an ‘internet of old’ vibe here on Mastodon. As the internet becomes more homogenised and centralised Mastodon is heading back to where we came from. We are experiencing more than a social media platform, or network. It’s the social protocol that is revolutionary. Aka the magic of ActivityPub. Hopefully it sticks around.
