[The Ugly Ass Baby Meme] ft. Ricochet, Venice and Silver

and was thinking about, but I've already done the meme with Rico with the 'Baby Looking like Stupid Mom/Dad', so why do it twice.

So, I finally settled on Silver being the Sonadow grandkid - I had been before thinking of Sonadow kid Silver, but then Astra the Hedgehog came along on tumblr and the idea of Sonadow Grandkid Silver is just too good to only happen once, so I went with it - baby hedgehogs (and most furred mobians in general) in my AU are born with brown or neutral fur colour, which is why Silver is not very silver.

And I designed Silvers papa - Venice the Mink, classic, I know, but I really liked the name, so why not.

But as I was thinking of using Silver Concept Art, I saw that I had subconsciously used to the first design for Rico, with the ears hidden by bandana over the head, so I looked around at other Silver designs, even some alt costumes, spotting that Neon Idol-like one, so I added elements from that in Venice.

And of course, my take of matching traits between parents and kids without being clones of each other - Rico's black markings for Silvers' eye markings, Venice's backwards mohawk to Silvers' Japanese Maple Leaf quills.

Rico is soooooo not happy with Silver, that boy is getting grounded after he comes back from his time travel adventures.

Poor Venice, has no clue what sort of bullshit wifey has gone through.

And of course I had to make it. I did wonder who would fit better, before settling on Shadow.

I headcanon that Shadow has enough energy that, without fighting, he can last without sleep for up to a week and only feel like he pulled an all-nighter, but he can still sleep if he chose.

But taking care of a baby is a completely different ball game that even the Ultimate Lifeform has reached the limit. They look very cute, just bundled up and cozy.

And today is basically Rico's birthday, as Jan 9 was when I uploaded the "Baby Looks Like Dad" Meme, but drawing a blank on a proper Bday party, I elected for a funny one, of her first month in life. That is a learning curve for everyone involved.

I blanked on the handle for Sonic, so I decided to make it a funny. The pfp is the Sonic Ice Cream.
