projects as of late: replacing the plywood in two of the three cabin cushions. Because we love extra work, we covered them in epoxy to waterproof them before we zip them back in. We’ll finally have a break from the rain, so I can wash and sundry the cushion covers.

We cut holes for the new sail pack displays, and are thisclose to finishing that aspect of the installation. We still have to install the transducer and the anemometer on top of the mast.

#sailboat progress! Reinstalled the refinished hand and hatch rails, replaced the automatic and the manual bilge pumps, cleaned the built up grime from the cabin to prep for reinstalling the teak I refinished. Picked silicone and caulk boogers from the deck to prep for the hand rails reinstallation. That was quite the project haha. My eldest put in a few more hours of sanding the bottom in preparation for barrier and bottom paints. I have one last patch of the cockpit to polish and then that project is finished. We are determined to get it out on the water this season, but the weather has not been cooperating. On the other hand, our area could definitely use all the rain it's been getting, so I'm not complaining too much. #SVPriscilla #maintenance #sailing

More work on the ! Refinished and reinstalled the hand and hatch rails. We also replaced the automatic and manual bilge pumps. J is working on the electronics tonight, and I cleaned all the grime out of the cabin to prep for reinstalling the cabin teak work. We removed the old boards from the cabin cushions and will be cutting new boards. We are going to gelcoat the boards to waterproof them a bit and to practice our tipping skills for future refinishing projects.

We've been dedicating evenings and weekends hours to spiffing up the boat. Sanding, polishing, electronics, etc. We still have a ton to do before we put it in the water but it looks better already!
