For this piece, I wanted to experiment with putting clothes on a #pterosaur! I think it adds some charm, but what do you think?? 🤔

This pterosaur is a #tapejarid called #Caiuajara, which is easily one of my favorites in the family!

Keresdrakon vilsoni was a tapejaromorph that lived during the #Cretaceous in what’s now #Brazil! It had a wingspan of over 3 m (≈10 ft), and lived alongside the #tapejarid, #Caiuijara! The first half of its generic name refers to the #spiritual personification of violent death in #Greek #mythology. Less graphically, the other half simply translates to “#dragon”.

Sinopterus Head Sculpture Part 1

Wanted to try something new, so I started what will be a #papermache #sculpture of a #Sinopterus dongi’s head!

Making this is pretty self explanatory. I just used non corrugated #cardboard from a small box, tape, and hot glue. Try it out yourself!
