As @baldur explained in a great blog post a while back, most professional software tools are designed for Taylorization. Reducing technical workers to more easily replacable units in software production lines.

For similar reasons, most web development frameworks are optimized for "enterprise use". A euphemism for the giant, highly centralised, DataFarming platforms we come here to avoid.
