Has anybody taken a stab at when climate change starts forcing internal migrations to escalate in the US and where it starts?

I'm thinking at some point people start abandoning the American southwest and we have something similar to the Dust Bowl migrations but at a larger scale and with a more fascist leaning political climate in areas people might migrate to.

It's going to be ugly and on a personal level, just a question of how ugly it gets before I die.
