It is not usual for a high school teacher to receive an external recognition for his teaching work (at least here, in Euskal-Herria). I have been lucky enough to have been recognized for my work at least once in my life. It was in 2006, thanks to what I called "Ikaslearen koaderno digitala" which was basically a small wiki (TiddlyWiki https://tiddlywiki.com/) inside a pendrive.

I won the prize for the best good practice organized by Euskalit and my wife and I enjoyed, thanks to this recognition, a splendid weekend at the Marqués de Riscal hotel in Eltziego (designed by Frank Gehry). This photo was taken there, February 2007.
