Our train was an hour late into Brussels and so we missed our connection. However we’re now on a Eurostar (ex-Thalys) service to Köln - we’re on the train but have no seats. Joys of rail travel. #train2egu
We are being held up by a technical problem in the Channel Tunnel - probably an hour’s delay. Fortunately I spotted that there is EMERGENCY CHOCOLATE in the cafe car! #train2egu #emergencychocolate
We’re on the #train2egu heading to the @EuroGeosciences conference in Vienna. Today is Cardiff - London - Brussels - Köln and we’re meeting a former colleague there for dinner. Currently on a Eurostar zipping across Kent.

Got a bit of shock this morning because the #train2EGU was simply missing in Enschede, but I managed to catch up using alternatives. Wondering why it's a only a one piece train though, it should be packed with scientists.#EGU23
