#trichordal

Four groups of three black tiles are placed on the smaller prototype 35 cm #quilt square in #tesselated groupings.

Thanks to Frank Brickle for helping develop the theory here. We are tessellating the twelve note octave with #trichordal #generators of the aggregate. This concept will be reinforced with the LEDs and MIDI sound, triggered by the accelerometer in the white tile.

"Time for Tessellation" is powered by #HackerBoxes and explores GF 2^12 music theory concepts.

Four groups of three black tiles are placed on the smaller prototype 35 cm #quilt square in tesselated groupings.

The solidly packed groups of three are at the compass point positions. This smaller prototype will resemble the controller board clock face on the full size quilt panel.
