I've been reading online about the benefits of learning melodies by ear. I guess doing this strengthens the connection between your ear and your horn in ways reading sheet music doesn't.

So, I'm trying to dedicate some of my practice time to this.

I sat down last week and figured out the horn line to Rock Fort Rock.
