On the way to work I saw a few dayflowers growing beside the path.

Just a gentle rub and the petals melt into an almost purplish blue ink.

'Tsuyukusa' (ツユクサ, 露草, 鴨跖草, 鴨跖) goes by many names, but because its flowers open at dawn and wither at dusk, it is commonly known as the 'dayflower'.
