The Kwuag Dominion, an Interstellar Empire situated in the central region of the Milky Way galaxy, governed by a species of small and frail aquatic humanoids known as the Kwuag. Featuring webbed feet and hands, slit noses, cheek fins, large dark blue lips, squarish teeth, and black eyes. Originating from the low gravity ocean planet known as Jabulbir, a moon orbiting a gas giant in the bir system.
The Dominion operates under a technocratic system, with a ruling elite council known as the Kwuag Senate that centrally plans their entire civilization. The highest authority within this government, the technocrats, convene to make decisions and select a supreme technocrat to lead the council for a five-year term.
Each technocrat is responsible for governing a specific sector of the Dominion, appointing individual governors for each planet under their jurisdiction, The technocrats occupy levitating anti-gravity thrones, which serve as a representation of the authority and prestige they hold within the Dominion.
The Kwuag themselves being frail and skinny, and because of this their soldiers employ power armor to enhance their physical strength as well as increasing their height, thereby transforming them into more effective and formidable combatants in the theater of war.
The Kwuag Dominion exhibits a strong xenophobic attitude, viewing themselves as superior to other species and seeking to influence and control the cultures and societies of other beings. This imperialistic mindset drives them to expand their territory by conquering new worlds and assimilating new species into their culture.
However the Dominion is perplexed by the widespread existence of myths and stories about the Alared, the dragons of time, across the known universe. This fear of a potential threat to their belief in superiority leads the Dominion to actively conceal any evidence of such beings, as they strive to maintain their dominance
