- mess with my scroll bar
- guess my language (it's in my browsers request header)
- mess with copy/paste
- enforce crappy password rules
This morning I've already had to deal with all four. None of these enhance your site, they just make you come across as an idiot.

Here's for all you #webdevs to make your design way better than the average currently is. White text on white background, with white marquee and white highlight colors. Heck why not make all the visited links white and modal dialogs also.
Bloody don't get it why goverment webpages should look good, and why they contain stupid modal dialogs telling me things I bloody don't need to know.
I want #FUNTION over form, two colors is enough, no one is so colorblind that won't see diffecence in B&W

Die einzigen FirefoxOS-Geräte in der #EU waren #SimLock'd / #NetLock'd #Prepaid-Handys die nur in Spanien bei Telefonica nur als Bundle mit SIM in Shops verkauft wurden!
@Cheatha Technisch lassen sich solche Modals (mittlerweile) problemlos ohne JS realisieren. Auch eigene Url und Back-Button Support sind kein Hexenwerk. Als Webentwickler sehr ich das nicht (mehr) als Problem. Aber man kann sowas dank #react oder #angular natürlich auch extrem schlecht implementieren. Kommt halt auf die Erfahrung des #webdevs an!

it should not just generate HTML... but documents
these documents should then easily be displayed/exported in different formats (PDF, Word & HTML)
it will be used by non-techs... so should definitely not require to learn MD, RST or LaTex
it should be able to interact with within the browser, but ideally also come with an API of some kind to get the data in different formats
suggestions?
In 2012 @anthony and me have organized a workshop at #SudWeb with the theme:

That was a wonderful and productive session where we collected feedback from #webdevs about #devtools in browsers. I was representing Opera Dragonfly at the time, Anthony was representing Firefox devtools, but it was very open and not browsers specifics. I'm reading the notes again. (1/3)

You know who i really like? People who assume that if one person in a group of people does a thing, it applies to the entire group of people.
It's just awesome when you do that and not presumptuous AT ALL. Keep doing it, this is how you make friends and ensure that people listen to what you have to say, especially the group you generalize!
Say a thing like "Why are #webDevs all terrible at their job" And immediately you will be liked, your comment will be taken seriously.
