Since WordPress 6.7 was released last week, there have been a few reports on the WordPress.org support forums, Trac and the Gutenberg repository on GitHub. Although the volume of issues following a major release has not been significantly higher than normal, most reports describe a small number of problems that should be fixed quickly. WordPress 6.7.1 is expected to be released on November 21.

Wow, those "internationalization improvements" in #wordpress #wordpress67 have proved to be quite a disaster. And what braindead moron decided to explicitly disable loading certain translation files for the "en_US" locale by hardcoding that in the textdomain registry? I have some very unkind words to say to them (well, actually I'd want to hit them over the head with a skillet, but apparently that's frowned upon).

@MarcusAnthonyCyganiak Customised Twenty Twenty-Four for my needs. E.g. added support for post formats (templates for format types like images, quotes).
And I am also a big fan of the query loop block filter for formats (#wordpress67 beta3)
You might want to check the upcoming default theme Twenty Twenty-Five (#TT5, #WordPress67).
A lot of design possibilities without coding.

Bezogen auf das neue Standard-Theme Twenty Twenty-Five bin ich noch nicht richtig begeistert. Das mag vielleicht auch an der Farbgebung liegen, die man ja ändern kann. #TT5 looks interesting, but I‘ll stick to #TT4. Although, I‘ve updated to #WordPress67 beta1 already to explore the possibilities of the new (post) format filter in the Query Loop Block.
First action - 20 sec of work - I changed the query for my quote section on my starting page. It used to filter the tag „quote“ now it filters the post format „quote“.
The first step to get rid of tags that separate types of posts.
