One easy trick to get to know what your boiler is doing: Just use a simple smart power socket, with energymeasurement. You can see whether the boiler is 'on' or when there is unwanted " short cycling". Anyhow you will be able to derive a lot from it.

Have been playing with the central heating settings again. November 7th was not good :-)
Found out one can download historical outside weather conditions from the dutch weather institute (KNMI), Cool!
Looks like november 2nd and 7th were quite similar, thus safe to compare. The Central heating settings I used on the 2nd of November are definately better. Less use of gas, inside temperature reached quicker as well. #heatingboiler #tweaking #zethemop60 #saveongasconsumption
