Aygehat – The Village of Cut Gardens
The older generations in the village of Aygehat in the Lori region often use the old names of the village - Igahat and Ikhat. The village used to be part of Georgia’s Tbilisi province. Some say it was called Aygehat because the greenery around the village was all cut down.
