Our paper on immiscible #polyolefin blends is out! Here we check out the effects of polyethylene-polypropylene blend composition on #crystallization and melting - morphology plays a huge role in the rheological properties during crystallization as well as the #crystallization temperature of the blend components: pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10.1021/ #rheology #raman #dsc

A few thoughts on mastodon:

*Retoot often.* The mastodon network is sparse. Many folks are new, and finding each other is complicated. If you see something you like, retoot it. You are the suggestion algorithm. Everyone benefits.

*Follow liberally.* We’re accustomed to timelines crammed with ads and unwanted posts. Even if you followed the same number of people as elsewhere, you’d see much less content on mastodon. So follow liberally; everything is more with friends.

A new report from Stanford argues for changing how we teach science in the face of rampant disinformation. “…the goal of science education must be to make “competent outsiders” of all students.”

Focus should be on how to determine whether a source is credible.

Start the reposting of old #SciViz #ChemEd material with one of the more popular ... pKa
I never thought this one would be as popular as it was (considering it just repackaged Evans & Reich). All found at makingmolecules.com/handouts
Sorry for those of you that have seen this over on the birdsite ...
