@gkrnours Weather is already designed as layered segments like that! Just not cut it yet, as I want to get a single digit working first, as there is a bunch more stuff that needs testing/fitting before I do the whole thing.
@gkrnours I'm pretty sure that'd work, sure! But I like the 3D effect of having them each on their own row for now, and for when I make it into a clock later on. I have a plan for a 'weather' digit at the end too!
I want to see how it looks with a printed element to hold the panels and cut out some of the light leakage next 😮

What if 7-segment, but also edge lit transparent acyclic?
It's obvs not ready yet (it needs a 3D printed base to line everything up properly) but this early bodge looks *very promising* indeed... 🤩
