The final #sculpture in the #bordwaalk trail has now been placed at the top of Horseshoe hill, opposite #Amble Harbour Village.
'Cracked’ by artist Stuart Langley, is made from carbon fibre and epoxy resin, and is lit from within which will emphasise the cracks as light fades.

Just arrived in Newcastle, where it’s currently -1C. We may well have a huge amount of work to do when it comes to retrofitting buildings for energy efficiency, but apparently the zeroth law of energy efficient buildings - closing the optional holes that leak heat - still isn’t universally accepted. BOTH windows in my hotel room were open. 😮🤯
