I keep seeing gravy posts so here is a gravy boat I saw while on a family trip to Barkerville BC. I took the photo on a passing thought.

@Hookaloop I think we're talking about different things. I don't mean the edge texture or that it's tight at the turn. I mean I'm increasing incorrectly so it was growing too quickly, then I corrected badly and it started almost... decreasing? So the edge is funny but flat. I think I have it now. I was adding an extra chain which resulted in an extra repeat on the turn. Oops.

I'm taking the taller stitch advice with me for future projects though. Thank you!

Work-In-Progress Wednesday.

I started this linen stitch crocheted shawl this week. Please ignore my pile of WIPs waiting for my attention. I like this texture and had a gifted yarn itching to be used. Also, please ignore how wobbly the top edge is (it's touching the yarn cake). Crochet isn't my first craft and I find turning the project difficult to keep straight so I'm experimenting a little with how I end each row. I might get it right. Eventually. Sorta. I might hide it with an edge stitch later.

Made time to walk through a park with a creek after filling the car with gas. This weekend was busy with work so I've had less relaxing time. The walk really helped decompress from such a busy week. Back at it tomorrow.

I've never made a top like this and it looks lovely. Wonderful color choice.

An icord would be pretty. It would add weight that the knit bind off is lacking when it goes over other colors. Would it be irritating on the under arm?

I love this so much. I don't know what it is about the kinda egg shaped face that gets me but it is so good.

Bit late for caturday but here's Jackson enjoying a heated bathroom floor.

I've taken a few photos this week that I won't share. We're building a house and we now have a hole in the ground! Progress! But photos of that are too close to home to feel comfortable sharing with y'all. But believe me, it's very exciting. I look forward to sharing how it looks on the inside.

I have N0S4A2 by Joe Hill on hold so I grabbed Strange Weather to read while I wait for it. It has been a week and I have yet to read a page. 😅 So I'm making it a goal to give the first story a good shot this weekend. While drinking my pumpkin spice black tea from Lucas Teas that we got for Christmas. Fantastic tea, would recommend. We also love their sleepy teas.

The Pie Hole is serving both of their hot chocolate festival flavors so we got one of each. They're both fantastic. The pink one is very reminiscent of fruit loops and sweet cereal milk. The brown one is a salted caramel. Both are perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth.

I've never been to The Pie Hole before. Their pie displays are super tempting. I'm sure I'll be back.

I was worried this would taste like a banana candy or like the banana medicine I had as a kid. Instead it tastes like chocolate chip banana bread with an apple caramel drizzle. So good! If this was a year round option, I would order it regularly.
