Our daughter's intense meds treatment of late (steroids) has given her a huge uncontrollable appetite.
90% of her speech is pretty much food related tbh
My husband described her food monologues as Spoken Word Food Poetry.
He nailed it
Observation in the pub yesterday evening
For me, leaving the house is a work in progress

Printing out posters to put up around Reading advertising the @CMIC crowdfunder and new beer launch. If you live in or around Reading UK you should definitely come and support this event and the collective.
If you live elsewhere in the world and like what the collective are doing you can still support them, just visit their page for details. Thanks x.

Evening
Btw, alternative name for this drawing is "Fears, tears, and beers".
It's been such a long few days
After an evening of semi constant seizure or sleeping it off, A's night is now completely borked. We've given up and got up.
It's nearly 3am. She's not really slept at all yet.
Morning
@stavvers unfortunately not possible as we're now estranged but it helps me to understand my very odd semi cult like upbringing. It's quite healing for me to understand what might have been going on. For example we were all in awe of her visions! And I felt like she was special and I wasn't because I didn't have them. It made for a strange mix of an inspiring quite wild alternative childhood, and extremely fucked up
@stavvers @passenger I wondered about Hilma af Klint and also Cecil Collins. And not art related but maybe Harriet Tubman
@stavvers this is so fascinating to me. I think my mother has these (but is undiagnosed so she believes them and is completely resistant to the idea they could be epilepsy based) It's made more plausible by the fact that her sister and niece and nephew also were diagnosed with epilepsy. One of my children has epilepsy though it's syndrome related, and another has occasional non epileptic seizures. We're a fascinating bundle of neurology
Glorious magical couple of hours out with my favourite fuckwit @ArtBrew
I've been a bit quiet on here of late partially due to school hols, partially my daughter's epilepsy struggles and partially because I'm not drawing much! But I got this lovely poster commission for The Castle Tap in Reading's Autumn Beer Fest
@ArtBrew yup
Banks be like: DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS EMAIL
But we can't be like: DON'T EVER PHONE ME EVER
@ArtBrew that sucks
@ArtBrew shit isn't it
