@powersleep #Telegram has a lot of users but you can do a lot of the same stuff with #Briar. @protonprivacy Does Proton still require an email address from somewhere else to sign-up? The rabbit hole is that you are traced back to the prior email which is almost always linked by your phone number. This gives me security concerns.

@blake So there's desktop versions in use now. They just made those available about a month ago, although there was a trial Flatpak version floating around before then. Getting IOS would be really helpful, especially given I have several friends on IOS and I cannot use Briar with them.
