Not doing too well in this heat!

And to think it's going to last all week. I know I shouldn't complain, but I'm not built for extremes of temperature.

I think I'm going to switch back to my account on Octodon, @Kestrel. .Network's a little quiet, and whilst I want to stay I'm not fond of the idea of tooting into the void and hoping for the best.

So I'll use both for a while, and see what happens.

I may have to re-post some of the photos, though. Wish there was an album feature.

Today's #photooftheday. I found this rather large caterpillar in the garden last year, and couldn't resist taking a picture of it.

A bit of research shows that it's a vapourer moth caterpillar, Orgyia antiqua. It's also got the great other name of the rusty tussock moth.

Got another #gaming earworm in my head and I can't stop humming. This time it's bits and pieces of background music from Wild Arms 3, a JRPG on the PS2.

Still one of my favourite PS2 games. ☺

Almost forgot that #DoctorWho is on tonight. It's been a really strong series so far (maybe with a couple of not-quite-there moments) but it's odd to think that the series is ending soon.

Not surprising for a show about time travel, but time really does seem to have flown since the series started.

Today's #photo was taken a few years ago, and I was really surprised to get close to this gorgeous creature. (granted, I was standing on a low bridge over the water at the time...)

I'm more convinced than ever that today was another #LeaveYourBrainAtHomeDay, but no-one told me about it.

At least, that's if the state of shoppers, drivers and pedestrians in my area is anything to go by.😆

@joshgaudreau *sheepishly* I fell asleep before I could pick one. I'm not too pleased with myself.

I'll be picking one out later, though. Trying to decide between reading some short stories online or attempting to read Raymond E Feist's mammoth saga.

I tried once, but gave up somewhere in the middle of it. Perhaps it's time to try again.
