Another Tapestry release where we had to keep an eye on the 4,000 character limit on What’s New.
My favorite thing about this release was doing the social actions in an extensible way: any connector can use this new API. It’s also something that we can iterate on with future development.
As with most things it was @bigzaphod’s good idea. I just ran with it.

@chockenberry I agree that so many are so messy. For my own purposes I’ve found the need to generate synthetic dates based on when an item is found for the first time. This has worked well enough for tapestry but could maybe be a decent fallback feature or option.
My co-workers are badass and I am proud of them.

@beeoproblem maybe I worded my case confusingly, this is what I think he is running into as well. I tried upping the memory for him using the node_options but you get a nice warning that it probably won’t listen anyway lol
@beeoproblem haha I was just trying to help a colleague with a cypress issue where checks notes every third run crashes the app 🫠
@its_john_davis @chockenberry I didn’t use loom (assuming that’s what you are doing) I just made a zip file of the required files and renamed .zip to .tapestry and imported.

@bagder @smallsees my guess is it’s either malicious and meant to waste the maintainers time or just spraying trying to get one thing right so it can look like a contributor to credible projects and then use that reputation maliciously later.
