HACK to defeat the denials:
1. Call the insurance comoany. Tell them you wan to speak with the "HIPAA Compliance/Privacy Officer" (by Federal law, they must have one)
2. Ask them for the NAMES and CREDENTIALS of every PERSON who accessed your record to make that decision of denial. By law, you have a right to this information.
3. Any refusal on their part should be reported to the U.S. Office of Civil Right (OCR.gov) as a HIPAA violation.
Most likely, there are very few medically-credentialed parties involved in the denial, and the insurance company will not want that revealed. When United Healthcare allowed AI bots to deny claims, look at the fallout that resulted. ONLY medically qualified entities should make claim denials.
