For that matter, even reversing the scenario has its own pitfalls.

@stephanie I think most right-wing Americans don't understand that most Canadians don't want to be American. They aren't prepared for what would happen after any sort of forced americanisation and they aren't familiar with the country's history in warfare. The resulting insurgency would be long, brutal, and right on their doorstep. The Canadians would burn the United States to the fucking ground.
