The only lesson to be learned from the the war on Iran is more atomic weapons to deter rouge states like USA & Israel from wars & genocide. This is insanely the biggest mistake Iran has made!

The human & environmental hit from this war will be unimaginable. Instead of massive climate action the world desperately need we get more pollution & war.

Humanity as we know it is directly threatened by the economic & political turn of the western world. Democracy is supposed to save us not kill us!

So the key of NATO's, Obamas and Bidens long term plan that they inherited from Bush came to an end with the fall of Syria. Now the door is open to take Iran!

However Europe is in chock when Ukraine's usefullness has served the purpose of weakeaning Russia is over. The whole point was to get Russia out of the Middle East and Syria. Nato lured Ukraine and EU to bait Russia to bite.

Its interesting how clueless EU pretend to be...and know nothing about Natos agenda. EU is not this dumb...or?

@ark if Bazzate is easy to install on the same drive as windows and how good bazzite is to partition i am not sure about. Bazzite is more tinkerproof as it set up like the steamdeck. That comes with certain things that u cannot do in some shady gaming areas as some things were missing. But Bazzite as a system is pretty nice! I am amazed that 99% of the games i have thrown at it runs beautifull. Check your important games on steamdb!

@ark Yep, i mounted ntfs gamedrive & added it to steam & games run like on windows. U need to mount correctly though! I used Ubuntu & mounted the drive in fstab. Ntfs isnt ideal & i had minor issues! Bazzite wasnt ideal as i am not so familiar with fedora & Bazzite is a bit locked down.

U should also get glorious eggroll proton if a game run poorly. I found out that i only had two games that didnt work. Basically all games i threw at it has been running perfect, 300+ games! Check ProtonDB!

@stib @starlily @engineerminded An off topic suggestion is online stores that focus on selling used laptops from companies, they are usuallly 3-4 years old but quality machines with warranty. Usual price is around the 400$ mark. I know that wasnt your question but installing ubuntu on relatively new laptops & especially proffessional ones is a good experience nowadays. It's also a bit better choice for mother earth. BUT i also wish the choice of linux were an option on most laptops...

@jk The point is diversity and creativity. All these flavours is fantastic! The underlining linux of all these distros is advancing continuously. I have tested multiple distros this year and most have run very well. All the open tools worked on and created is a human marvel of computer evolution. That one peraon can create a distro is like living in utopia! Something better is what is evolving! When companies & people invest it help the good and inclusive computer evolution.

@gardiner_bryant In Sweden i pay ~43$ for 1gbit with a dedicated IP, i think a permanent is about 4$ extra. The true inernet cost here is about 10$ but companies charge what they can as usual. Internet is an important part of a countrys infrastructure and should be cheap and available for everyone!
