Every billionaire CEO or VC that complains about the “woke mind virus” is really complaining about the fact that they have all the money in the world but can’t be as racist, sexist or homophobic as they want.

I interrogate my relationship with manhood and masculinity. I understand that even if I personally don't do things to make life more difficult for women, that the default is that I benefit from millenia of baked in systems and expectations. I didn't create these systems, but as a beneficiary, I have a responsibility to move them towards balance.

I fundamentally don't believe that we can address sexism and misogyny by giving women extra stuff to do. Men have to do the work.

Let’s be very clear: if you support forced births but don’t support universal health care, then you’re not pro-life.

Reminder: Prior to 1982, stock buybacks were considered stock manipulation. It was Reagan's SEC that opened the floodgates to their abuse.

Stock buybacks don’t create more jobs. They don't increase wages. They don’t grow the economy.

They make corporate execs richer. Hello?

Shameful. There's a direct connection between Norfolk Southern's wasteful stock buybacks and its failure to invest in adequate safety. Corporate buybacks should be banned, as they were before 1983.

Happy Purim!

For those who don't know the story of Purim, it starts with a king who is unhappy that his wife won't show off her beauty for his friends. He decides to replace her with a new wife (Esther) who happens to be Jewish (though he doesn't know this at the time).

The king appoints an evil man as his viceroy who calls for the eradication of the Jews because one Jew wouldn't bow to him (since Jews only bow for G-d).

In the end, the Jews preemptively rise up against the fascists who would eradicate them.

Today I remember the danger posed by fascists who seek to eradicate people.

It's traditional to wear costumes and I dressed up as Mrs Peacock, in the Conservatory, with the Rope (myself and a bunch of friends did Clue-themed costumes)

Recently started carbidopa-levodopa (#levocarb) to treat #dystonia, a common comorbidity with #EhlersDanlosSyndome. I am cautiously optimistic for my chronic #MuscleSpasms, #Cramping, and #AbnormalMovement. While I don't have obvious #Myoclonic movements like #Parkinson patients, my #neurologist who's a movement disorder specialist said that based on my symptoms and since I have #hEDS, we're treating as if I have dystonia. Started week 2; he said should expect results in 3 weeks #FingersCrossed
