R1-N4/8R is, just like the others, based on one of the known demonic races inhabiting this world: In this case, an Aquatarii.
Early in production, the scientists and engineers already started to face quite alot of struggle. The installed weaponry showed no reaction when connected to the mainboard, as if there was no power there to activate them.
Head of the project, a so called Mr. W -he was never seen at the laboratory- simply decided that the project should be carrying regular fire arms instead then.
While this was not uncommon, 9R-0R equally had regular fire arms in one or the other way, some of the engineers were confused about that decision. If that could really work on a robot with already set mission and environment parameters.
In the end, they kept working on R1-N4/8R until completion.
Eventually, the final test came. Can the robot even use a fire arm after all. The needed protocols were installed in the computer, however when tasked to shoot, the robot went in stand by. The scientists and engineers couldn't understand why.
Some were outrageous, said that it should be scrapped, what a useless tool for war it is. Others however still saw a way on how it could be useful to them...
In the end, R1-N4/8R was active in civil missions like as a guardian for VIPs or, most commonly, as a riot breaker unit.

Once a human, now a rotting knight.
Kryper, as his name is today, was once a human living in todays romania. He was a knight in his settlement's militia and was one of the strongest.
One fateful day he returned back home and noticed that his sister had found something within the ruins in the mountains: A unique looking box which looked, surprisingly, to be in really good condition.
However, they weren't able to open it, no matter which way they tried.
They let it be, not minding it at all.
Next morning, his sister was gone, her room showing scorchmarks everywhere. He was confused and worried...and then he saw the box on the ground: It was open. Did she manage to open it?
What he didn't knew is, that the box was a carrier for souls and curses. It had cursed them. Kryper would soon find out with what.
One night, a beast appeared within the settlement, it had burning skin and attacked everything that moved by unleashing fire upon their fragile bodies.
As Kryper went out to fight the beast, he couldn't believe his eyes.
The beast was his sister. She was taller, more...demonic looking, yet it was her. He didn't want to fight her, but he had to. It was his duty to defend the settlement. At the end, he fell as easily as the others did. As the fires died out and the smoke settled, a figure rose from the ashes. The flesh was burned and rotten, the armor was molten and destroyed. It was the deformed remains of Kryper. An undead Knight, driven by justice.

Sooo yeah I stopped going with the alphabet, I will just post as I like now :v As the story says, this is Kryper, a "Cursed-One". the curses made him to be a Rottarii...a necromancer, an undead necromancer :v

Felicita is one of those rare cases of being a hybrid. She was born from a human and a demon.
The demon was a so called "Voltarii", a highly advanced demonic race, fueled by a fusion reactor as their heart.
However the human body is incapable of handling the power input of the voltarian heart and so the reactor collapsed within itself, turning itself nuclear.
With the age of 21, she found out about her hidden powers more openly. She emitted a strange heat, radioactive gamma ways which caused other people around her to suffer from scorched skin and by longer exposure even death.
She saw those powers of hers as a curse and so exiled herself, have a new life far away from everyone. She stumbled upon the ruins of "Old Angeles" and so decided to seek shelter within the ruins. It was there where she stumbled upon someone with a similar condition as her.
This one introduced herself as an emissary by The Glow, someone she can trust from now on, someone who will accept her for what she is...

I won't go as in dephts in lore with this one, because Felicita is a simple follower of a more bigger cause. She is basically part of my version of the "Children of Atom" from Fallout

The fog is dangerous, they say. Something lurks inside it, they say.
In the end it turns out, that they were right.
The Misteria are a weird, unusual and sometimes creepy race of demonic beings. There is no realm they call their home, they are an anomaly in nature with no way of verbal communication and only slight gesticulation. Their bodies are a manifestation from the fog they reside in.
From what was written in the records, there were only a few encounters with these beings...or at least only a few were recorded.
Misteria are known for stalking their prey, not just for days or weeks, but years. They want to find out everything about their daily life before eventually "replacing" them. Misteria are shapeshifter and hungry for knowledge.
This specimen in particular is called "Fabienne". She adapted the name from the prey she replaced

I know, this lore is a bit weird to read, but it was also equally weird to write.
The Misteria are just a really unknown race of demons (and quite immortal, lil funfact)

Dusan, the younger brother of Dunera and son of the Ancient One Deserus.
When the first leader of the Sandorian Empire left, Dusan's older sister Dunera took charge of ruling the empire.
As the empire was brought to a new golden age, Dusan saw the tyranny his sister did, The cruelty she showed to the annexed enemies and even to her own people.
For the first few months he tried to look away, he hoped Dunera would find a turn and become the empress everyone needs. His hopes were shattered when he saw Dunera's cruelty towards innocent civilians rise.
A scene too much for Dusan to handle, he had to stop his sister by all means. She was too dangerous.
He gathered together priests, warriors and guards who were the same opinion as him. And so they were developing a plan...
The plan was accomplished fast within the next week.
During a speech to her people, Dusan stabbed Dunera in the back with a cursed dagger. He knows it couldn't kill her, but weaken to a spot to easily take care of her.
As the preperations for Dunera's fate were made, Dusan talked to one of the priests with him.
He said, that if Dunera might ever awaken again, she will cause chaos to whoever is alive at that point. He requested to be buried with his sister, buried as a guardian. If the cursed seal of her sarcophagus might ever break, his one shall open as well, so he can stop Dunera from causing chaos, cruelty and murder ever again. He might be the only one to have the strength to do so...

Their lore is kind of...like together? They are siblings after all and I didn't want to copy/paste the whole thing again, you know?
I know he looks like "How can he be the YOUNGER one?!" but it makes sense.
Like Yoda used to say: "When 900 years old, you reach…look as good, you will not." It's not 900 years in this case, like way more but you know what I mean

It is the ancient times. Long before the egyptian pyramids, there was the Sandorian Empire stretching all across the Sahara Desert.
Formerly lead by an Ancient One, his 2 kids were left to rule the kingodm.
As the older one, Dunera decided to take charge immediately.
While she brought the empire to a new, prosperous and golden age, Dunera was a cruel and ruthless empress, even to her own people. Her age was filled with war, death and pure evil.
This caused the build up of some sort of rebellion, a rebellion lead by her own younger brother.
In the middle of the day, as Dunera was speaking to her people, she got backstabbed by her brother. Both were children of a Cursed One, so Dunera wasn't going to die from that, but she got weakened.
The rebels took her away. The priests sentenced her to a fate worse than death: She was mummified alive and put inside a cursed sarcophagus. This sarcophagus denied her body's ability to regenerate, making her a normal mortal in the end. Slowly but surely she will die inside there; either suffocation, dehydration or starvation.
In the end, times have passed. The Sandorian Empire eventually collapsed, forming the egyptian empire eventually from its ashes.
Fast forwarding a few thousands and thousands of years later, archeologists found the buried ruins of some of the sandorian structures...and within the hidden sarcophagus of Dunera.
As you know some archeologists, they felt the need to open the sarcophagus...and with that the curse was broken, the curse which kept Dunera inside. A rotten, slowly reforming arm emerged from the now opened grave...

So yeeah, going into my own universe's history :D
Dunera is actually one of my favourite characters. I know she is an antagonist within my lore, but i don't care -

"C0-14"

"C0-14", also known as Contagia, is a bio-weapon developed and experimented with by EvoWorks in one of their "Bio Sectors" Laboratories in Goiânia in brasil.
They experimented with an artificially made fungal virus, tested its abilities, how it could be used in warfare. While at first, the results didn't seem to be overwhelming, it is what happened after what made the scientists interested in its possibilities.
EvoWorks began giving random people from the streets a job offer for actually quite good conditions. So good, that you would question its legitness.
EvoWorks never planned on paying them anyway. These people were nothing but test subjects for their newly developed fungal virus.
Each of the subjects were exposed to a different variant, the scientists wanted to see which reactions the human body showed.
The results were more or less lethal for the most part...however there was one subject which had some relatively unique reactions to the fungal virus. While it was subtle, the subject's body showed visual changes to their skin and eyes. The scientists didn't expected that kind of reaction to happen, but it was something they could build upon.
Multiple tests were needed to eventually turn the subject to the creature it is today. Its meanhile pale white skin was covered in pinkish/black veins, probably an aftermath from the fungal virus. its body had high resistance to cold and warm weather and interestingly...ballistic damage.
Suddenly, a warning sirent alerted the entire laboratory. The formerly deceased subjects, which were kept in safe storage for future purposes, were alive again! however they acted weird. you ould expect them to go feral, but they were the complete opposite. undead, but...as if they were mind controlled. Mind controlled by "C0-14". It breached security and on its way out, freed one, maybe even more deadlier bio-weapon from captivity...

"Collector", also known as Cion, is a demon of the Solera race and a bounty hunter. Even before the war, he and his sister were active in quite a few shady actions. They were doing the jobs, most others were scared of. Especially after the war, when there were tons of vacuums of power in almost every realm, their job was more than just needed to get rid of a rivaling group of gangsters or to just collect intel about the situation elsewhere.
Cion's role in their duo action was cleaning up the massacre his sister left behind -he can do that with his solerian powers. These absorb the souls of their victims and desintegrate the flesh and bones, leaving nothing- and collecting the tasked items.
Besides that, he was also the one getting all the deals for the jobs. Not only didn't he trust his sister with it for a handful of reasons, but she was also mute since they were young.
Something that differentiates them from most other demons out there. Cion and his sister are Hybrids between Solera and the rare and kind of creepy Misteria. This combination of the 2 races makes them almost immortal in terms of age. Their aging is drastically slowed, which is luckily quite handy when you are wandering around as bounty hunters, keeps them active for a long enough while.

Sooo yeah, this was it for his lore, was talking a bit much about him AND his sister. They were working together since always so they didn't really seperate. and yes, i will post his sister's lore here some time in the near future.

MK2 Cyborg "C0-R4" aka Cobra.

Just like Chamelia, Cobra is part of the MK2, created by EvoWorks.
She was intended to accomplish missions suited for assassination and infiltration.
Cobra wears a specialized backpack, which includes concentrated acid stored in special containers, an energy support system and communication array. The acid in those specialized containers can be used in multiple ways by her:
On one hand, as ammunition. She has some sort of "acid thrower", which cast a deadly, quite far reaching acidic fog. On the other hand it can also be used as a tool to unlock key areas for her missions.
Her weaponry consists of above mentioned "acid thrower", acidic gas grenades and at last a modified tranquilizer. The bullets leak out a strong acid on impact, destroying the bullet and internal biological structure when shot at an enemy.
Just like the rest of the MK2, EvoWorks stopped developing further on their generation, once the MK3 were ready for duty.

I just noticed, how far my OCs reach already into EvoWorks territory. Damn...

MK2 Cyborg "CH-14" aka Chamelia

CH-14 is a cyborg made by EvoWorks in the Robotics Laboratory of Casper Wyoming. She was build for a scout role, observing enemy territory while being able to stealth out enemy detection.

EvoWorks scientists equipped her with the most high end technology in terms of camouflage. the hexagonal plating on her jacket do not only adapt to the environment around her, but also send out an electric signal which manipulate any kind of sensor to make Chamelia completely invisible to them. The rest of her body is made with aluminum plating and titanium frames...and well of course all the other machinery needed, so Chamelia can function properly.
Her weaponry consists a singular MK2 Class Modified Scout Pistol with a scope attached to it, being able to zoom up to 8x. Glady there is no stock needed to be attatched to this weapon. The robotic arms already act against the recoil perfectly.

Canonically Chamelia is the only one of my 5 MK2 characters to die. 2 of the others were send out on a mission to locate her at her last known location, where they would find her destroyed and torn apart robotic body, probably looted for the valuable parts...

An angel-sorceress of the Heavenia Magica, a powerful group of skilled magic users at Heaven's Gate.
Cecilia was always more connected to the magical aura surrounding them than most of the other angels, even topping some of the high sorcerers.
So being part of the greatest group of sorcerers was out of question for her, it was her destiny at this point.
As she grew up, her connection to the magical aura became stronger and sooner than later, Cecilia grew in ranks.
During and after the war, Cecilia and the rest of the Heavenia Magica were tasked to find the sources of "Demonic Hotspots" and let the valkyries take care of them. Places were the corrupted demonic powers were at its strongest, due to hidden artifacts or strong demons in that area.

I know, there is not much lore, but she is more of a "side character", a friend of a highly important character within the angelic ranks.

Cassandrah Warren. EvoWorks Scientist of Robotics.

During an accident in the "Robotics Sector" Laboratory in Casper Wyoming, one of the prototypes went rogue, attacking and killing workers and scientists alike. Cassandrah was one of these unfortunate people to be attacked by the prototype. Before it was able to kill her, security guards destroyed the prototype and Cassandrah was urgently brought to the medical center within the laboratory. She was severely hurt, multiple bones were broken, blood was filling her lungs. Normally EvoWorks wouldn't care that much if the victim was a regular.
However, in Cassandrah's case, she was a highly important asset to the company, being in charge of design and concept of the next generation of military grade robotic assets: The MK2.
EvoWorks had to find a way to save such a high asset and so, did what they can do best: Questionable Activities.
In order to save Cassandrah's life, they used robotics, replacing the damaged, torn and broken tissure and bones with high grade titanium, cables and so on.
Now she was not only a great minded asset to EvoWorks, but also in outside activities...all kind of...

This is Caleb.
Caleb is a Solera Demon and the son of a so called "Cursed One". Cursed Ones were once human. After they got in contact with an unknown, demonic relic, these humans absorbed the powers of one of the demonic races and in this case: Caleb's father absorbed the powers of a Solera.
Later during his life, as he wandered around a snowy village, he spotted a figure in the distance. His curiousity got the best of him and he decided walk closer. The figure turned out to be a girl...it was the girl which caused the mass murders back in moscow! Despite multiple decades passing, she looked no year older than 19 years old.
Her hands, shirt and jacket were bloodied as her eyes glowed in a dark red colour. She tried attacking him, probably out of instinct or because the whispers told her to. Unsurprisingly, the attacks didn't really bother him. Caleb kind of just stared at her, while Anastasia slowly backed away from him.
Her reaction was cautious...while Caleb felt something he didn't feel before for a stranger...

So yeah, that kinda contradicts what I wrote in Anastasia's lore, because I wrote that she was never seen again, buuut well here we are. She was never seen again in her hometown, if that makes more sense. Also, Caleb and Anastasia are my only canonical romance. I don't know, I just like these two together -w-

Azot is a chemical weapon, designed and experienced with by EvoWorks scientist in the "Chemical Sector". The laboratory he was made in, is located near Anchorage in Alaska.
Scientist experienced the use of nitrogen as some kind of weaponry. A cryo-blaster, freeze ray, etc. At last it was speculated what effects these nitrogen weapons had, when used by an artificial creature. That's how Azot was created.
turned out that liquid nitrogen would cause more trouble than originally thought. The joints and cyber optics constantly froze, That obviously had to be fixed somehow.
They used a special, secret metallic alloy, which was automatically emitting a high temperature. The scientist combined that artifical body with that alloy, coating important features with it.
This solution was actually a really great success. They infused the new weapons with his arms, while containing some small machine within his back, which would filter out the nitrogen in the air, making it be able to be used by him as ammunition for the experimental weapons.

I like to go in all kind of direction when creating characters. robots, demons, cultists, half-bloods, angels, etc. In his case, i wanted to make a chemical weapon. i don't know why, i was just always fascinated by chemistry lol

MK3 Variant 45-C4, "Assassinica"

45-C4 is a robot made by the "Robotics Division" of EvoWorks. The first prototypes of these new class of military grade machines were constructed and programmed in Mainz, Germany. Despite all the flaws the former generations had, the scientist and engineers really perfected their newest design by including machine with demonic relics: in this case, a heart of a Solera, a soul demon.
while the soul of the demon is still intact within their heart, they don't have much freedom to control their new body, programming forces to do their given orders.
45-C4, just like the other MK3, is able to use their respected demonic relic's powers, enabling a high advantage on the battlefield.

Aquata

The Currently ruling queen of the demonic aquatariian race.
Despite the obvious redflag of being demonic beings, are the Aquatarii a calm and pacifistic race. Aquata is the daughter of one of the "Ancient One" Helios. "The Ancient Ones are a race of astral beings, able to masterfully use powers of hellish and heavenly creatures alike.
Aquata is currently trying to return peace to all the races and cultures after the war between the heavenly and hellish creatures began to settle, revealing the true chaos that unfolded.
While the war has ended, there are still factions out there which didn't hear the shot...
