Governments on the left and the right need to understand that our rights are paramount to their needs.
Policing, judiciary and often politicians try to abuse our privacy instead of doing good, basic, investigative work. Ineffective investigation calls for better oversight of government not citizens.
We remember telling people to be concerned about their privacy in the tech world, "Why, we aren't doing anything wrong?", they said. Now I hope everyone realizes it's about the guy whose got your data, not you.
