This is one of the intriguing covered passages in Paris. There are many of these around the city. They are early iterations of modern shopping malls, sort of. You can find all kinds of wonderful things in the passages, from book sellers, to gift shops, and of course food.

@stux This is the adult version of my Bucket-o-mud theory regarding kids and amusement parks. You can spend untold amounts of money on kids for an amusement park experience, or you can give them a bucket of mud in the back yard. They'll have a blast with a bucket of mud!
