Opposing counsel just chastised me for my tone in an email: "the tone of your email and the apparent disdain you have for my clients will inflame them."
Your clients should not be surprised when I accuse them of breaking the law by discriminating against my client because of their protected characteristic, and then retaliating against them when they bring up the problem, that I do not hold them in the highest regard at that moment.

Re: Feinstein, there's a really unfortunate double-up of decline in mental faculties and related failure to see the impact of that decline. I wish that trusted folks around her would gently steer her toward a resignation, and I wish that she would have the wherewithal to see the wisdom in it.
It's hard to balance the right of the electorate to choose representatives, and the overall public good of competent representation.

The optimist in me says that the fact that the world is literally broiling and burning will finally spur some real change on climate. We can't keep pouring CO2 into the atmosphere. But the realist in me says that people will not wake up to the threat until the point where dramatic world-altering actions need to be taken. We have the means to drastically reduce CO2 without reducing living standards, but the time for the latter is running out fast.
Seeing people being nasty about Mitch McConnell's medical issues, or even just boosting, gives me a good idea of who to unfollow.
I deeply disagree with the man, and I'm all about schadenfreude as it relates to policy initiatives and legislation, but schadenfreude with respect to medical issues?

I love the mission of the EEOC. I am incredibly frustrated with the EEOC, particularly my local field office.
A claimant must file with them to pursue a discrimination case. We resolved a discrimination case. They will not permit the withdrawal of the Charge after more than 3 months since we asked. They are "investigating."
