Married with grown children. Live in rural south eastern England. We're enthusiastic members of the National Trust as there are so many places we can visit locally. I enjoy gardening, nature, photography, food - cooking and eating. My photographs are those of an enthusiastic amateur, just enjoy the moment. I'm not great at playing sport but love Liverpool FC and the England cricket team.

One of my favourite garden birds, we're so lucky to have them breeding here and visiting the feeding station several times a day. The trunk of this palm is really popular with both the woodpeckers and nuthatch to stash suet in holes for later. Of course, it's often stolen and as it's directly opposite the kitchen window, makes for great viewing #birds #nature #photography
@beecycling @oldrawgabbit I don't even think it's just that, it's people who don't prepare at all and wander in and out getting snacks, drinks and going to the loo, as if none of those could be anticipated beforehand. Last time we were at the Royal Albert Hall (pop not classical) it totally spoilt the experience all the shifting and moving.
@beecycling @oldrawgabbit That's how we raised our children and have been credited by other theatre goers who said they'd been worried when they took their seats in front of us, but how well behaved they were...I wouldn't have taken them unless I knew they'd live up to our expectations.
Other people's bad behaviour, even sweet wrapper noises, really puts me off attending, always has.

It's very endearing and humbling to me every time we are up against teams in European cup and by the end of the match they look so genuinely joyful to hug Klopp and the players and swap shirts. Made me grateful to be reminded what a big club we are and how meaningful our presence are in this competition. #lfc

@saxicola I love my fitflop slippers so much I bought a spare pair in case they were discontinued. I must be ancient! Actually though, they're wearing really well
