Sterling silver & mixed metal jewellery, handcrafted in my studio / shop in the beautiful market town of Hexham, Northumberland. I use traditional metalworking tools and techniques to create texture and form, transforming an unassuming piece of metal into wearable art. My inspiration comes largely from the local landscape, represented in the earthy mixed metal tones of the copper and brass used alongside sterling silver in my work.

Morning from the bench!
Lots to do and it's total chaos - but then would I have it any other way?! I'm frantically prepping my new summer collection which I'll be releasing at my 1st birthday party in the shop next Saturday (28th), as well as doing all the prep for that too. Plus I've just received a lovely wholesale order from one of my fab stockists so I'm trying to squeeze some of that in too.

A very special recent make for a very special young woman. 🤍
My beautiful niece, Eve, recently turned 18 (how?! 🤯) so my gift to her was a pair of her favourite style of hoop earrings, with little dangles of her birthstone, moonstone. I haven't seen her since her birthday sadly (what with A-levels and 300 miles between us to contend with), but I spotted she was wearing them on photos of her birthday lunch, so I'm thinking they were a hit!
Just plain silver or mixed metals? Too much choice? Oh, I'm sorry! 😘
Eve has been printing on paper using this year's leaves from trees around Alston and Middleton-in-Teesdale. Keeping them in the fridge, they're definitely not salad and there's not room for salad in there, anyway.
I think these are some of the best designs she's done recently and shows that paper can make a great medium as much as fabrics for printing with natural dyes.

I've just had a cancellation for my ring making workshop at 1pm on Saturday so I've got a last minute space up for grabs. It's not available to book online, so if you want to make it yours then send me a message and I'll sort you out.
Other than this, there is only one other space left for ring making in my summer workshop program (Thursday 7th August at 6pm).

New in store, and coming to my online shop very soon. Twisted huggie hoops in a choice of sterling silver, brass or copper. Which are your favourite?
I was a bit nervous about the task as the stones were very delicate, but in the end I thoroughly enjoyed making them and was really pleased with how the necklaces turned out. And, most importantly, so were my clients. Phew!
One of my recent commissions, which was handed over last week: a cute quartet of jade pendants.

My clients were an older couple who had four jade cabochons that had come from a bracelet bought in China a number of years ago. They wanted to turn the stones into pendants which will eventually be given to their daughters and granddaughters.
