Hysterical! The @cobolworx account was SUSPENDED for "inauthenticity"! We are committers to #gnucobol and just contributed the #GCC #COBOL frontend. But our opinions are *inauthentic*? Probably my nudging @DOGE to post #SSA COBOL on #github. But I mean it!

X just permanently suspended my cobolworx account. The reason given was that a human reviewed the content and proclaimed it "inauthentic"!!??

GCC 15.1 fork was taken this afternoon. Not necessarily the last but it is a key milestone. Bob's cleaning up the details on the GCC web page to reflect GCC COBOL and COBOLworx's contribution (Symas's but under that Division name0.

Just wondering what the average life expectancy of a Web page and its scripting is. It is a different profession than developing for Finance and Administration core apps which don't change much and the code CAN last for decades. #COBOL is a language that makes it easy to come back 20 years later and figure out what the developer meant.

@bruces As good a villain as any but I think it's more a discovery of fiction by corporate marketing teams (propagandists). Probably not all that new, actually.
