@octothorpe The additional port charges #trump is levying on shipping companies who have ships that have been built in China, may change the calculus. (Quite how Trump thinks this will magic up the shipbuilding and training pipelines necessary to massively increase the number of US built & flagged ships is beyond me)

Reading Dan Brown’s #DaVinciCode for the first time, it is hugely entertaining, though not perhaps in the way Brown intended. I live a couple of miles from Rosslyn Chapel, it is as Mike Brown ( no relation) described it, a beautiful anachronism. The history of the St Clairs as Earls of Orkney is a lot more interesting than this chewing gum for the mind.
Verdict: Mostly harmless fun. (The tourist boost is welcome).
