The best thing about backyard falconing? No bear cubs were hurt!
My workplace is looking for a PHP / Laravel full stack dev to join my team. Fully remote, well established Sydney-based SaaS app. I think it's a great place to work. AU compatible timezones preferred. All experience levels welcome to apply, DM for more details.
"Thanks to the record-setting rain that has washed over California during the last six months, Lake Manly — which dried up thousands of years ago — has reformed on the floor of Badwater Basin, the lowest point in North America. This unlikely and exceedingly rare comeback is a message from the warming climate, which baked the region in a years-long megadrought and has now flooded it with rain."

@cbssunday It’s great to see #cbsnews features on Mastodon! I also love everything Seth Doane does. I have just one gripe: subtitles for people speaking in English. Why does Tifolis Abacab (sp?) need them, when Paul Schumacher (sp?) does not? They both have rather noticeable accents.

And I stopped editing after a year of that. Maybe things have changed and I'll try again.

I say: :The book is the book. It is a space between covers to be tamed. Its finitude makes demands upon author and editor, who decide what fits, what is worth saying, and what they hope is worth discussing and preserving—though the reader is the one who will ultimately make those decisions, who finishes making the book." 6/
