Trio traced in light - I caught these mule deer does illuminated in some excellent light right as I was arriving at my mom's house for a visit. She lives right on top of Lake Meredith National Recreation Area, so there is abundant wildlife. I shot some photos of them through the rolled-down passenger window of my Subaru Forester, which acted as an excellent blind. We encountered only one other vehicle in 42 miles - a ranch pickup literally stopped in the middle of the road, straddling the center line, with its two occupants working just outside the truck. An image from March 10th that I nearly forgot about. It seems like I nearly forgot the entire folder from that date. This is a dark, late blue hour shot taken while hiking back to my car at Palo Duro Canyon. This is a scene I see all the time from this trail, which is one that I commonly hike, and it therefore doesn't usually stand out to me.
